The Abbott Diagnostics Division (ADD) at the Zurich/Baar (Switzerland) location is looking for a Field Service Lead / Field Service Supervisor – Diagnostics to start immediately.
Field Service Lead / Field Service Supervisor – Diagnostics
In this position, you are responsible for managing Diagnostics Field Services in Switzerland and work closely with Abbott ambassadors to ensure the best possible customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities
- Management of stakeholders, including key customers
- Leading and coordinating the Technical Service team in close collaboration with the District Customer Experience Managers
- Setting and achieving performance indicators and customer satisfaction values
- Participation in customer business reviews
- Monitoring device reliability and costs for device service and managing all escalated service cases to ensure timely resolution
- Achieving the field service cost plan
- Managing and controlling spare parts inventory to ensure service levels are maintained
- Recruiting, training, coaching, developing, motivating, and retaining technical service specialists
- Implementing area goals and incentive plans and conducting the performance evaluation process for the technical service team
- Ensuring that the service meets all quality, procedural, and process requirements on-site and in the business area
- Success in this role will be measured by achieving service levels, customer satisfaction, meeting service KPIs, and economic growth and profitability in the district.
Your Profile
- Several years of leadership experience in a technical field service in the sales/medical or service industry
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in medical technology is an advantage
- Product and industry knowledge within (laboratory) diagnostics
- Several years of work experience in Switzerland
- Fluent German and English skills; French skills are an advantage
- Strong communication skills and customer orientation, ability to identify problems and actively drive their resolution
