Production Planner with a Focus on Data Analysis (f/m/d)

What is the role about?

You plan and optimize production processes holistically, analyze performance data, and visualize key figures in meaningful dashboards. In addition, you drive digital tools and cross-departmental improvement projects forward and ensure a smooth production process.

What tasks will you take on?

• You plan, control, and optimize production processes holistically and maintain the production planning system including safety stocks, Kanban control loops, and EPEI definitions.
• You analyze production and performance data, identify bottlenecks and improvement potentials, and visualize key figures in meaningful PowerBI dashboards.
• You work closely with purchasing, logistics, order handling, and quality assurance and ensure a smooth production process including escalation management.
• You actively drive the introduction and further development of digital tools as well as the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and accompany adjustments until sustainable implementation.
• You lead and work on cross-departmental projects, initiate product and process changes, anchor KAIZEN principles, and ensure structured knowledge transfer within the team.

What do we expect from you? 

• You have a degree in business informatics or a comparable further education as a process specialist with a federal certificate.
• You bring at least three years of professional experience in production planning or in an industrial production environment.
• You are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerBI, and VBA, and use these tools for sound analyses and optimizations.
• Ideally, you have knowledge in electronic production and understand complex technical contexts.
• You communicate very confidently in German and have English skills at level B2.
