Job Description
Summary of Activities
The responsible person sets up production equipment, operates and monitors it, and makes adjustments with minimal guidance. This includes the production of standard and new products, ensuring product quality, and compliance with internal production and quality standards.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Set up, run-in, and produce standard and new products on the following machines:
Fanuc Robodrill milling machines with and without handling system
Miyano lathes
Twister shot blasting
Trumpf laser marking
Perform machine setups, operation, and adjustment of equipment according to product requirements.
Coordinate with team members when setting up machines according to setup sheets and production specifications.
Process production orders according to supervisor instructions.
Ensure that board loaders, feeding systems, and feeders are always equipped with the correct parts and prepare for the next production run.
Monitor machines and scrap parts to ensure parts are correctly sorted and processed daily.
Check production documents for accuracy and completeness.
Perform self-, first-piece, and counter-check inspections (self-inspection).
Measure produced parts on various measuring machines, e.g.:
Perthometer
Projector
Height gauge
Zeiss coordinate measuring machines
Provide tools, measuring instruments, and fixtures according to instructions and technical documents.
Perform tool changes, tool corrections, and measure tools on a Zoller presetting device.
Optimize and adjust machine programs.
Ensure that processes and equipment operate within internal manufacturing standards.
Conduct quality inspections, tests, as well as simple fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on machines.
Independently monitor product quality and initiate corrective actions in case of deviations (process monitoring).
Report deviations from specified production times.
Ensure order and cleanliness in the assigned work area.
Fix minor machine malfunctions.
Clean machines and perform maintenance according to the maintenance plan.
Properly and independently complete the production documentation according to GDP (Good Documentation Practice).
Take on additional tasks as instructed.
Qualifications / Requirements
Professional Requirements
Ability to acquire and maintain all required work-related certifications and training.
Technical understanding in handling production machines, measuring instruments, and manufacturing processes.
Careful and quality-conscious working style.
Ability to independently monitor production processes.
