Espace de vie SA is an institution that manages the medico-social establishments (EMS) of La Châtelaine in Vernier and Saint-Loup in Versoix. These respectively accommodate 91 and 84 residents. Approximately 240 employees are engaged there.
Job Description
Your Mission
Reporting to the Head of the Hospitality Sector, your mission will be to ensure replacements during absences and according to the needs of the sector, in a versatile manner on our two sites (Châtelaine and Versoix). Thus, you may be called upon to:
- Ensure meal service for residents and external clients in the restaurant, as well as service during festive or institutional events.
- Maintain rooms, offices, premises, common areas, and sanitary facilities according to the cleaning techniques and methods in force.
- Maintain household linen, professional uniforms, and residents' laundry.
Profile Sought
Your Profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in EMS or hospital
- AFP or CFC related to the position (Stewardship Manager, etc.), an asset
- Experience in laundry/linen service an asset
- French: good oral and written skills
- Availability during all school holidays (summer, end-of-year holidays, etc.)
- Basic knowledge in the use of common computer tools
- Autonomous, highly available and flexible, proactive and rigorous, with a sense of organization and responsibility,
- Positive and dynamic by nature, ability to communicate with various interlocutors in a multicultural context, developed service sense and good observation skills
- Adherence to the institutional project and the institution's values, strong interest in the field of elderly care
