Your tasks
In this role, you will advise and support adults seeking help with complex problems on a voluntary basis as well as within the framework of statutory social welfare as a case manager. Another part of your activity is the careful examination of the entitlement to economic and personal assistance according to the Social Welfare Act of the canton of Basel-Landschaft. You conduct demanding negotiations and take responsibility for the rehabilitation of complex financial situations. In addition, you are responsible for the provision of economic social welfare according to cantonal guidelines and support clients in asserting subsidiary claims. You ensure needs-based and professional advice with the aim of promoting social integration and sustainably strengthening the financial independence of clients. In doing so, you work closely with internal specialists, public and private institutions, as well as authorities, and also reliably and structurally handle the administrative tasks that arise. You appreciate a lively working environment and profitably contribute your solution-oriented and communicative skills as well as your professional knowledge.
Our expectations
For this demanding and interesting activity, you bring a completed degree in social work (FH) and are used to working independently and conscientiously. For the successful performance of this function, we ideally wish for professional experience in the social welfare sector, the associated administrative knowledge, as well as confident German language skills. You have experience with the administrative software KLIB and can use it efficiently in everyday work. You are characterized by resilience, a healthy assertiveness, and willingness to perform. For our team, we wish for an open and committed personality who enjoys the profession.
