ABOUT THE POSITION
To strengthen our team in the legal department of SAP (Switzerland) AG, we are looking for a lawyer who ideally already has experience in IT projects, software contracts, cloud services, and data protection law, through work in an IT company (or environment) or as a lawyer.
The scope of activities includes the legal support and advice of the individual SAP sales and service areas and partner management, the management of SAP (Switzerland) AG, as well as close cooperation and coordination with SAP SE as the parent company and participation in international teams.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contract negotiations: drafting and negotiating contracts with customers and partners across all business areas
- Data protection & AI: drafting and negotiating agreements on data protection and other legal/regulatory requirements, especially in the area of artificial intelligence and financial market supervisory law
- Legal advice: internal legal advice for all business areas and the management of SAP (Switzerland) AG
- Competition/antitrust law: assessment of competition and antitrust law issues
- International collaboration: collaboration with legal colleagues in the MEE region, especially for coordination and localization of new business and contract models
- Knowledge transfer: creation and delivery of training on legal matters
- Escalation management: legal support of escalations
YOUR PROFILE
Education & professional experience:
- Completed law degree with a focus on Swiss law (MLaw, lic. iur., or comparable degree from a Swiss university)
- Entry-level or up to 5 years of professional experience in a law firm in the field of IT law or in the legal department of an IT company or comparable environment
Language skills:
- Fluent German and English
- Good French skills desirable
