- You are responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of the system category strategies (signaling systems, railway power, track, public facilities & civil engineering, telecommunications & low voltage, natural hazards, environment & sustainability) of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn and the Gornergrat Bahn.
- You are responsible for preparing the network condition report, from which targeted investment projects and initiatives are derived.
- You ensure the technical standards, norms, and instructions in the infrastructure sector as well as a high availability of infrastructure facilities through proactive fault and technology management.
- You lead an interdisciplinary team of systems and technology managers as well as the narrow-gauge track center of RAILplus and actively participate in the management team of the infrastructure department.
- You participate in cross-departmental, strategic committees and working groups and are a member of the project committee for selected projects.
- You enjoy further developing the entrepreneurial working climate in the Systems & Technology division, work closely with other teams and external partners, and actively exchange your experiences with other railways.
Your Profile
- You have a university or university of applied sciences degree in a technical field (engineering studies) or a comparable education, ideally with further training in business administration, project or systems management.
- Several years of leadership experience in a technical environment, ideally in the railway infrastructure sector, are a must.
- You have very good technical understanding, solid knowledge of railway infrastructure, and a great interest in the mobility of the future.
- You bring a lot of initiative, implementation strength, connected and pronounced strategic thinking with enthusiasm for innovation, and high social competence.
- As a resilient personality with a reliable working style, you have already proven your leadership and project management experience in a similar industry.
