Learn museum activities: You will gain a versatile insight into the museum and exhibition activities of the Copperplate Print Room and collect valuable experience in a dedicated team.
Participate in exhibitions and collection maintenance: The focus of the activity is supporting the head of the Copperplate Print Room in collection maintenance, scientific research, and the organization of collection exhibitions. This includes administrative and organizational tasks, maintaining artist dossiers, writing exhibition labels, and answering scientific inquiries.
Handling originals and data maintenance: Especially handling originals and working with the collection database (MuseumPlus) require a high degree of care, precision, and conscientiousness as well as a strong interest in working with works on paper.
Experience: You have at least one year of experience in museum work and possess knowledge in the field of works on paper, especially printmaking techniques. You are skilled in using scientific museum software and working with digital image databases.
Personality: A quick grasp, independence, resilience, flexibility, and teamwork complete your profile.
Education: A completed university degree in art history (Master's) is a prerequisite for application.
Language: In addition to excellent German skills, you have very good foreign language skills in English and French.
