The Center for Addiction Diseases (Chief Physician and Center Director PD Dr. med. Marcus Herdener) offers an extensive inpatient, outpatient, and day clinic therapy program as well as comprehensive diagnostic clarification options for people with dual diagnoses, i.e., patients with an addiction disorder and other mental illnesses. In addition, it conducts translational addiction research aimed at improving the lives and health of affected individuals through the development of new prevention and treatment approaches.
The study "Züri Can – Cannabis with Responsibility," conducted by PUK and the City of Zurich, is a pilot project approved by the BAG for the regulated distribution of cannabis for non-medical purposes. The goal is to examine the effects of regulated access to cannabis, including consumption competence and behavior as well as mental health, and to enable consumption with as low risk as possible (www.zurican.uzh.ch).

Your tasks
- Disorder-specific and integrated psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment of patients with dual diagnoses in an outpatient setting (40-50%)
- Study physician and scientific collaboration in the research project Züri Can with a scope of 40-50%
- Conducting disorder-specific group therapies
- Differential diagnostic clarifications
- Participation in emergency service - collaboration in an interdisciplinary team
Your profile
- Medical license (requirement: Swiss professional recognition MEBEKO & German language entry)
- Interest in further training to become a specialist FMH in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy
- Strong team and communication skills
- Patient orientation and openness to innovative treatment concepts
- Clinical experience present; experience in the field of addiction disorders is an advantage; interest in scientific work
