Our business unit 'Weighing & Instrument Components' (MTWIC) is leading in the industrialization and production of laboratory scales and other high-resolution gravimetric instruments, terminals, MFR force sensors, and circuit boards for the entire METTLER TOLEDO Group. For our Quality Inspection Team, we are looking for a highly motivated and conceptually strong person as a Measurement Technician 80 - 100% (all genders) at the Nänikon-Greifensee site, the global operational headquarters of METTLER TOLEDO with various exciting production areas. In this role, you will take on the following tasks: You carry out inspection tasks of mechanical parts using measuring machines and devices according to the test plan. You program and perform measurements with a Mitutoyo 3D coordinate measuring machine. You ensure the monitoring of measuring instruments as well as their periodic calibration processes. You are responsible for initial sample inspections in collaboration with R&D and Q-Eng, conduct these, and create initial sample inspection reports. Your tasks also include evaluating measurement results (usage decision) as well as operating the measurement software and entering data into SAP. You perform special measurements as part of problem-solving measures. You initiate complaints in SAP and conduct random checks.
