Certified nurses for the Pediatrics Department
To strengthen our Pediatrics Department teams, we are looking, from March 1, 2026, for certified nurses with a workload between 80% and 100%, on a fixed-term contract until December 31, 2026
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education
The Women-Mother-Child Department (DFME) includes neonatology, pediatrics, pediatric surgery, adolescent medicine, as well as gynecology and obstetrics
Within the DFME, the Pediatrics Department offers comprehensive and multidisciplinary care for children from 0 to 18 years old, in close collaboration with other department services, with a child- and family-centered care approach
Mission
- You provide, in collaboration with the care team and doctors, comprehensive patient care (technical and relational care, advice, and therapeutic education) for all medical-surgical pathologies of infants, children, and adolescents
- You ensure the proper execution of delegated medical acts and take responsibility for them
- You actively participate in welcoming patients and their relatives, organizing work, and ensuring continuity of unit activities.
Profile
- You hold a HES nursing diploma or an equivalent recognized title, with mandatory Red Cross recognition
- You have experience in pediatric care and are available quickly
- You demonstrate versatility, initiative, and a strong sense of responsibility
- You show interest in interdisciplinary teamwork and the diversity of clinical situations
- You are autonomous, organized, and able to adapt to different clinical contexts.
Depending on your profile, the salary class will be between level 8 and level 9.
