For the operation of a new, fully automated manufacturing system in the field of fire detectors, we are looking for a committed and technically skilled individual as a Technician: Automated Manufacturing / Machine Operator.
Our manufacturing system
- Fully automated production line with
- 8 state-of-the-art manufacturing cells
- 7 industrial robots
- 2 automated packaging systems (bag and carton packaging)
- Central control via Siemens S7-1500 PLC
- Modern sensors and actuators including IO-Link technology
Your new tasks
- Ensuring the trouble-free operation of a highly automated manufacturing system
- Operation, monitoring, and optimization of production processes
- Analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation of malfunctions
- Support in maintenance and optimization measures
- Compliance with quality, safety, and process requirements
Working hours
- Willingness to work in a multi-shift system is required: Currently planned for the late shift from 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Your talents and experience
- Basic training as a mechatronics technician, automation technician, industrial mechanic, polymechanic, or comparable qualification
- Experience with highly automated production systems and good knowledge of pneumatics
- Initial experience in programming PLC systems, ideally Siemens S7-1500
- Independent, structured, and reliable working style
Ideally / advantageous
- Experience with robot controls, preferably Stäubli robots
- Initial experience with IO-Link as well as basic knowledge in LabVIEW and/or TestStand
