Purpose of the Position
Ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality mechanical manufacturing as well as further development of the team and production processes.
Responsibilities
- Leading, developing, and coaching a team of 10–15 employees.
- Ensuring precise deployment and capacity planning in the ERP system.
- Optimizing utilization and prioritization within production.
- Planning and organizing training, skill development, and further advancement measures.
- Implementing and integrating new technologies, machines, and digital tools.
- Facilitating problem-solving processes including DMAIC and promoting continuous improvement (KVP) activities.
- Ensuring compliance with all quality and safety standards.
- Close collaboration with quality, planning, maintenance, and other interfaces.
Requirements
- Completed technical basic training, polymechanic EFZ or equivalent.
- Further education such as technician HF, process specialist or equivalent.
- Several years of experience in mechanical manufacturing or a comparable production environment.
- Experience in leading employees (team or shift leadership).
- Understanding of production processes, quality systems, and occupational safety.
- Experience with lean methods, continuous improvement (KVP), or Six Sigma is an advantage. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Very good German and good English skills.
