In this demanding position, you lead a team of three employees and serve as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) of SPS Switzerland AG. Together with your team members, you ensure that the legal and regulatory requirements are met and implemented at all Swiss locations of SPS. As Head of Compliance and supervisory body for quality management and occupational safety, other important and exciting topics are also under your responsibility.Your Area of Responsibility
- You are the Data Protection Officer for SPS Switzerland AG
- You support and review compliance with the laws, regulations, and compliance standards relevant to SPS Switzerland AG as well as the (indirectly) relevant regulatory requirements that apply in connection with service delivery
- You are responsible for conducting compliance audits at SPS Switzerland AG and provide professional support for external audits within Switzerland
- You support the sales process regarding all compliance topics
- You hold coordination responsibility for the ISO 9001, 14001, 22301, and 27001 certificates of SPS Switzerland AG
- You are also responsible for maintaining and further developing the ISAE 3402 / 3000 frameworks
- You ensure that document management and processes within the management system are always up to date
- You organize training on compliance topics and advise employees as needed
Your Profile
- You have successfully completed a law degree (UNI / FH) and can demonstrate relevant experience and/or further training in data protection, compliance, and risk management (CAS, NDS)
- Your experience in leading compliance/governance teams enables you to meet the increasing compliance requirements of internal and external stakeholders
- You have in-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance and data protection issues
- Ideally, you have several years of professional experience in the Swiss banking/insurance environment and have knowledge of FINMA circulars 2018/03 and 2023/01
- You are a proactive personality with negotiation skills and assertiveness towards all stakeholders and a holistic, strategic, and innovative mindset
- You have very good oral and written German and English skills; French skills are a plus
