About the job
Pension benefits mean more to you than just numbers and paragraphs? You want to take responsibility, understand complex cases, and competently support people during crucial phases of life? Then you might be a great fit for us and take on a central role in handling demanding benefit cases with your expertise.
Your Tasks
In this role, you take on a central role in the Pension department in assessing and processing demanding benefit cases. You carefully review complex claims, calculate benefits precisely, and ensure that decisions are implemented correctly and on time. You maintain direct contact with insured persons and support them with professional competence, clarity, and empathy, especially during important life events such as upcoming retirements.
You quickly grasp new facts, understand complex interrelationships, and combine legal foundations, mathematical logic, and concrete life situations into viable solutions. Numbers, legal texts, and processes interlock, and this is exactly what makes this task appealing.
The work is demanding and constantly present. You manage your cases independently, set priorities, and keep an overview even under high workload.
You coordinate closely with internal departments and external stakeholders such as social services, guardians, or trustees. At the same time, you actively contribute to the further development of the department by supporting new legal requirements and helping to shape process optimizations.
Your Profile
Your daily work requires a high degree of personal responsibility and mental agility. You have completed a commercial or equivalent education and ideally have experience in social insurance. Further training in this area or in process management is a plus. You work precisely, think customer-oriented, and navigate confidently in the tension field of laws and directives. Complexity does not intimidate you but motivates you.
You combine analytical strength with clear judgment and have the perseverance to thoroughly think through demanding issues. You recognize patterns, draw precise conclusions, and make well-founded decisions even when the initial situation is complex. You remain willing to learn, continuously develop your knowledge, and strive to always be professionally up to date. A pronounced intrinsic motivation and resilience are crucial to be sustainably successful in this environment. You work in a structured way, think ahead, and remain focused and capable of acting even in intense phases.
