School Herzogenbuchsee – Kindergarten and primary school in the heart of Oberaargau: Centrally located on the main traffic axis between Bern and Olten, School Herzogenbuchsee offers children from the municipalities of Herzogenbuchsee and Niederönz comprehensive education from kindergarten to 6th grade. Currently, around 730 students are accompanied by a dedicated and versatile team of teachers at five school and five kindergarten locations. In addition to regular classes, the school also coordinates special education in speech therapy and psychomotor therapy for the surrounding schools in the region.

Tasks

Our competence center for speech therapy and psychomotor therapy is housed in the Burg school building in modernly renovated and spacious rooms. The team consists of three speech therapists and two psychomotor therapists. One of our therapists will retire in the summer, so we are looking for a suitable successor. You conduct psychomotor therapies and support programs for children with motor, emotional, and social developmental difficulties in the school context. You take on diagnostics as well as the planning and implementation of individual and group-related psychomotor support measures. In doing so, you work closely with teachers, school specialist departments, and parents to support the children holistically. You document the support progress and regularly evaluate the therapeutic measures. In addition, you advise teachers and parents on psychomotor issues in everyday school life. You actively participate in interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements

- You have training as a psychomotor therapist or are completing it - You enjoy working in a team and communicate on equal footing with teachers and parents
