MATERIALS LAB TECHNICIAN - METALLOGRAPHY (M/F)
100% - LA CHAUX-DE-FONDS
Your tasks:
- Assist the laboratory manager in analytical and operational activities
- Prepare the chemicals necessary for production workshops
- Perform metallographic analyses (sample preparation, observations, interpretation)
- Carry out inspections and analyses of the mechanical properties of materials
- Perform advanced analyses: SEM EDX, FTIR, and ICP
- Ensure compliance with safety rules, especially related to handling hazardous products (ADR)
Your profile:
- Federal Certificate of Competence as a physics lab technician, materials option, or equivalent training (EPFL engineer - metallurgy)
- Proven experience (minimum 10 years), ideally in the watchmaking or microtechnology sector
- Autonomy, rigor, and analytical mindset
- Comfortable in a demanding and standardized laboratory environment
