We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist at 80% to join our outpatient child psychiatry team at Le Réseau de l'Arc in Switzerland. In this role, you will work in collaboration with child psychiatrists and other health professionals (psychologists, nurses, medical secretary, etc.) to provide high-quality outpatient child psychiatry care to our patients.
The Child Psychiatry Service of the Mental Health Pole of Le Réseau de l'ARC is an ISFM training institution (in the process of recognition for category B) for hospital and outpatient activities.
Job Description
Your work consists of evaluating and caring for patients in an outpatient setting within the CAP (Outpatient Child Psychiatry Center) located at the Moutier consultation site, for outpatient patient care.
The tasks are as follows:
- Conduct psychological assessments of patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the child psychiatry team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Work closely with child psychiatrists regarding the need to prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Participate in the outpatient care continuity system, as well as closely collaborate with the UHPA (Psychiatric Hospitalization Unit for Adolescents) at the Moutier site
- Intervene in crisis situations and be able to perform emergency psychological assessments and, if necessary, propose an appropriate care orientation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records
- Participate in the development and implementation of outpatient child psychiatry protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Master’s degree in Psychology (university diploma) is mandatory.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team is essential.
- Enrollment in a postgraduate training program in preparation for obtaining a psychotherapist title, such as MAS or equivalent
- A strong commitment to postgraduate training and knowledge dissemination is required.
- Proficiency in French at a minimum B2 level is necessary.
- Knowledge and ability to perform psychological assessments (cognitive and psycho-affective) would be a plus.
