Portrait of the School/Institution
The Wangental School belongs to the municipality of Köniz and consists of the Niederwangen Juch School, Niederwangen Ried School, and Oberwangen School.
In the 2025/26 school year, the Wangental School will have 13 basic level classes, 10 Z2 classes, 5 Z3 classes, and one KbF upper-level class. Of these, Niederwangen Juch hosts 5 basic level classes, 5 Z2 classes, 5 Z3 classes, and the KbF.
The Wangental School comprises 650 students and over 90 staff members.

Tasks
The full workload includes teaching and the role of class teacher for a 3rd/4th grade class: 23-26L/ 5% class teacher function.
The position can be performed individually or as a team.
Collaboration with part-time teachers and the grade team as well as participation in school events (end-of-school party, project weeks, camp weeks, ...) are also part of your responsibilities, as is the integration of students with special support needs or simple special education measures.
Requirements
Ideally, you have a seminar-based primary teaching certificate or a bachelor's degree for preschool or primary level. You are an open, conscientious, resilient, and communicative personality. You enjoy working with children and parents.
You are a team player, loyal, and committed. You advocate for the well-being of the students and the entire school.
