For our care centers in Bassersdorf and Embrach, we are looking for a motivated senior physician to strengthen our medical team. In this responsible role, you will significantly contribute to the high medical quality of our care centers and simultaneously accompany the next generation of doctors on their path. • Medical responsibility: You ensure targeted and highly professional medical care for several care groups.
• Leadership & training: You professionally lead assistant doctors and actively support the training manager in their education.
• Interprofessional collaboration: You work closely with nursing professionals and therapists to ensure holistic care.
• Communication: You are a competent contact person for residents, relatives, and external partners and maintain transparent dialogue.
• Development: You actively participate in internal training and the continuous development of our medical standards.

• Qualification: Specialist title in General Internal Medicine (or near completion, then senior physician in training). For foreign diplomas, MEBEKO recognition is required.
• Professional interest: Strong interest in geriatrics (a specialty title is welcome but not required).
• Competence: High social skills, fluent German, and a professional appearance.
• Personality: You are a committed, team-oriented individual with joy in knowledge transfer and interdisciplinary work.

The KZU, with its two in-house daycares, operates two care centers in Bassersdorf and Embrach as well as three care apartments in Nürensdorf and Winkel. It primarily offers a home to elderly, care-dependent people and, in addition to various specialized services, a wide range of outpatient services. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 apprentices and students in 17 different professional groups.
