Dry January is an international alcohol prevention campaign, coordinated in Switzerland by the largest addiction support organizations. The project management is with the Blue Cross Switzerland. The temporary alcohol break can help break ingrained drinking patterns and reshape one’s relationship with alcohol. The non-profit campaign aims to help increase individual quality of life and well-being.

What to expect:

• With your creativity and organizational talent, you are in the middle of the campaign team and contribute your ideas to a multimedia campaign
• You independently create texts of all kinds - editorial articles for the website and newsletter, up to original content for our social media channels
• You provide our over 70 partner organizations with information and keep them always up to date
• You are primarily responsible for organizing the annual Dry January event "DRY PUB CRAWL" (alcohol-free bar tour)
• From project management, network building to media work, we help you gain insight into many areas and you will take on your own partial tasks

How you score points:

• With your prior knowledge and experience in communication/multimedia/public relations and/or project management
• You enjoy storytelling, are linguistically confident (DE, possibly FR) and know the most common MS Office programs as well as multimedia apps
• With your openness to new things, independent working style, creative nature, and you are not afraid to share your ideas with us

We offer you the opportunity to take on a very varied range of tasks in a young team and an NGO. You can basically choose your working days freely, and home office is (largely) possible. The salary is based on the cantonal guidelines of the Canton of Bern.
