To complete our team of the Vascular Surgery Service at the Lugano Regional Hospital, we are looking for a

Head Physician Vascular Surgery Clinic (100%)

Vascular surgery covers the needs of the entire cantonal territory, offering local services in all the Entity's hospitals and centralizing complex interventions in Lugano. The candidate must be able to manage the full spectrum of open surgery interventions and have experience in endovascular techniques. Proven ability to work in a team is essential, considering the close collaboration with angiologists, interventional radiologists, and surgeons of other specialties.

Required qualifications:

• degree in medicine and specialization in Vascular Surgery or equivalent title (for doctors with foreign titles, recognition by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions MEBEKO and related registration with MedReg is mandatory before starting activity)
• proven knowledge of the Italian language (required level at least B2), knowledge of another national language and English is desirable
• complete training and experience in vascular surgery;
• solid clinical training with experience in supervising young colleagues in training;
• strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;
• interest in research;
• willingness to work at all EOC locations
