Specialist (m/f/d) Gynaecology and Obstetrics

The Fricktal Health Centre (GZF) ensures outpatient and inpatient primary care for around 88,000 residents of the region. The Rheinfelden Women’s Clinic combines obstetrics, gynaecology, and an interdisciplinary breast centre under one roof, offering modern medicine in a personal and appreciative environment. With around 450 births per year and a broad spectrum of conservative and operative gynaecology, the Women’s Clinic is one of the established centres of expertise in the region. For the Women’s Clinic at the Rheinfelden location, we are looking for a committed individual as a Specialist (m/f/d) in Gynaecology and Obstetrics from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

You will be responsible for

• Taking on on-call and background duties in our Women’s Clinic and ensuring high-quality medical care
• Independently managing births and confidently leading the delivery room even in complex and acute situations
• Performing common gynaecological and obstetric emergency operations independently
• Competently and empathetically caring for inpatients during their stay
• Working closely and trustfully with midwives, nursing staff, and other specialist disciplines

You bring with you

• You hold an FMH specialist title in Gynaecology and Obstetrics or an equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland
• You have several years of clinical professional experience in operative gynaecology and obstetrics
• You have solid experience in independently managing delivery room and emergency situations
• You possess a high sense of responsibility, resilience, and decisiveness
• You have good German language skills, both spoken and written
• You are flexible and show commitment
