Manufacturing Engineer 80 – 100 % (m/f/d)

The Business Unit Robotics develops, produces, and markets pipetting robots to automate liquid handling processes for the pharmaceutical, food industry, and cell or DNA research sectors.
What you can achieve:
- Development, introduction, and validation of new production processes
- Definition and establishment of industrialization concepts and production processes
- Introduction and updating of data in the ERP system related to production processes
- Definition of manufacturing processes including material flow, line balancing, and assembly methods as well as calculation of standard times
- Development of process documentation, such as process flow diagrams, work and test instructions
- Specification of required PBMs (test and operating equipment) for product industrialization
- Definition of test contents and methods for quality assurance of series production
- Definition and optimization of project-specific KPIs
- Application of Lean Management tools when introducing new and existing products, focusing on cost reduction and quality improvement
- Application of structured problem-solving methods for sustainable process optimization
- Co-responsible for the creation and compliance with technical & regulatory requirements, industrialization processes, and necessary documentation (Lead QA & RA) for the products
- Second / Third level support throughout the product lifecycle
What you bring with you:
Professional:
- Completed vocational training with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable education
- Several years of experience in product industrialization
- Knowledge and experience in project management
- Experience with process validation is an advantage
- Application of Lean methods, DfSS methodology is an advantage

- Knowledge of quality systems for medical devices, FDA, and applicable ISO standards (ISO13485, ISO9001) is an advantage
