• Acceptance, cleaning, and storage of various cereals and by-products from the food industry
• Quality control and assessment of raw materials
• Processing, grinding, and mixing of raw products according to animal species and nutritional goals
• Planning, controlling, and monitoring the production process
• Control and assurance of the final product quality

• Interest in processing natural products
• Interest in working with modern machines and plant controls
• Good computer skills
• Technical understanding
• Reliability and hygiene awareness
• Resilience, ability to work in a team, and willingness to work irregular hours (partly shift work)

• Practical and varied training
• Support from experienced practical and vocational trainers
• Annual apprentice event
• Good employment conditions, e.g., 6 weeks of vacation
• Wage supplement for shift hours worked
• Possibility of permanent employment after successful completion of the apprenticeship
