What you can achieve with us

You accompany students with multiple disabilities in the classroom. As part of a motivated class team, you implement the support planning and teaching according to the teacher's instructions and assist with daily organization. You professionally promote, supervise, and care for the students. You regularly exchange information with the reference persons and participate in round tables, school status meetings, and professional consultations. Accompanying special weeks, school projects, and other school events is also part of your duties. In addition, you write periodic journal entries or reports on the accompanied students. 

You have experience in supporting children and adolescents with multiple disabilities and ideally also with children on the autism spectrum. In addition, you hold a degree as a clinical special education teacher, social pedagogue, or as a care specialist FaBe. You can approach challenges with the necessary professionalism and calm. You adapt your communication individually to the abilities of the students. With your constructive manner and positive attitude, you contribute greatly to a good team climate.

We are the Foundation for Blind and Visually Impaired Children and Adolescents Zollikofen - a private, politically and denominationally neutral organization with a non-profit purpose. Our task is to support and accompany people with special support needs from birth to young adulthood.
We offer additional services to parents, teachers of public schools and special schools, as well as professionals. Our core competencies lie in the support and accompaniment of young people with visual impairment, blindness, multiple disabilities, or from the autism spectrum.
