Tasks

You are responsible for strategy development and thus the positioning of Edelweiss with its brand and product. For this, you take on cross-departmental topics from the spectrum of Corporate Development and the entire Edelweiss:

• Further development of the corporate strategy and organization as well as strategy development processes, together with the Head of Corporate Development
• Independent handling of strategic priorities such as further development and expansion of business field(s), customer experience, corporate responsibility, fleet development, project management, innovation management, aeropolitical affairs, CEO office, compliance, etc.
• Preparation, processing, and presentation of strategic analyses, among others for management and the board of directors
• Coaching and challenging the specialist departments, actively identifying improvement potentials and developing initiatives as well as supporting and, if necessary, leading projects of all kinds

Requirements

• Completed university degree in a relevant field
• (Initial) professional experience in a strategy department and/or a management consulting firm with a focus on strategy and organization
• Experience in the travel or aviation industry is an advantage
• Project management skills, ideally experience in leading projects, moderation and presentation experience
• Decisiveness, assertiveness, negotiation skills as well as enjoyment in dealing with complex issues and independent, pragmatic problem solving
• Flexible personality with excellent German and English skills and very good user knowledge of MS Office applications
