Mechatronics technicians assemble systems and machines from mechanical and electronic parts, commission them, and operate them. Of course, they also take care of the maintenance and servicing of the systems. They process materials manually and mechanically and assemble mechanical, electromechanical, electrical, and electronic components as well as pneumatic and hydraulic controls for systems into mechatronic systems. They assemble the manufactured components and system parts, commission the systems, and operate them. This also includes measuring and testing the systems and components. If necessary, they also program production systems. In addition, they maintain these systems and system parts.
