Dental Assistant for the Reception of the Dental Medicine Center
To complete its team, the Dental and Maxillofacial Medicine Service is looking for a reception collaborator at 60% from February 1, 2026, under a permanent contract.
Context
The University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in medical care, research, and education.
Since January 1, 2024, our Dental Medicine Service has been an independent entity, attached to the Department of Surgery, as is the division of oral and maxillofacial surgery. It acts as a reference and support center for practicing dentists and works closely with other CHUV services.
Mission
- You ensure the physical and telephone reception of patients, relatives, visitors, and collaborators, respecting the CHUV guiding principles
- You manage the administration of outpatient and hospitalized patients, according to the Patient Administrative Management (GAP) guidelines
- You coordinate the scheduling of surgeries in operating rooms for oral and maxillofacial surgery doctors
- You ensure communication with medical, nursing, and administrative teams
- You participate in medical secretarial tasks specific to dental and maxillofacial services.
Profile
- You hold a dental assistant CFC
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- You master the Medident and Zawin software
- You have a good knowledge of Dentotar and TARMED tariffs
- You have excellent command of French, both written and spoken
- You are comfortable with Microsoft Office computer tools
- You are organized, autonomous, dynamic, and able to adapt to different interlocutors
- You demonstrate rigor, open-mindedness, and a strong team spirit
- Knowledge of CHUV internal applications is an asset.
