About the job

The Department of Aging and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of Winterthur in the five senior centers as well as with Spitex.

For long-term care at the Oberi Senior Center, which provides a comfortable home for a total of 150 residents, we are looking for a motivated and interested nursing professional with extended responsibilities for our dementia department from July 1, 2026, or by agreement.

Your Tasks

Needs- and resource-oriented, individual care and support within the reference person system including case management

Responsible for the quality and implementation of the care process

Advising and supporting the nursing team in complex care situations in the residential group

Analyzing complex care and support situations and initiating measures as well as their evaluation

Supporting the residential group management and the trainer in specialist questions

Participation in working groups or projects, collaboration with nursing experts

Taking over daily responsibility in early and late shifts

Your Profile

Degree as a nurse HF or FH, with completed further training or willingness to complete such (e.g., CAS Gerontology, CAS Palliative Care)

High social competence, teamwork, flexibility, and resilience

Goal-oriented, independent, and service-oriented working style

Very good oral and written German skills

Very good PC user skills and experience with common IT programs

RAI knowledge is an advantage
