As of January 1, 2026, we are looking for a:

Chairperson of the Youth Promotion Commission (KNW)

puls-berufe.ch – Together against the shortage of skilled workers

On behalf of the Health Directorate, the OdA Gesundheit Zürich is responsible for the coordinated image and youth communication of non-university health professions in the Canton of Zurich with the brand puls-berufe.ch. This work is strategically supported by the Youth Promotion Commission (KNW), which includes various health institutions, educational centers (Careum, ZAG, ZHAW), the Health Directorate, and career counseling. Since 2021, the OdA Gesundheit Zürich has been coordinating an inter-cantonal cooperation of the brand puls-berufe.ch with nine other cantons and the Principality of Liechtenstein. This collaboration increases the visibility of health professions and enables additional activities thanks to a higher budget.

For the chairmanship of this committed commission, we are looking for an experienced, networked, and proactive personality who enjoys actively and effectively shaping the image and youth promotion of health professions.

The tasks:

• Leading the KNW meetings (3 times a year) in collaboration with the marketing of the OdA Gesundheit Zürich
• Strategic further development of the youth and image measures of puls-berufe.ch in collaboration with the marketing of the OdA Gesundheit Zürich
• Actively shaping a positive perception of health professions in the public and in the health sector
• Bringing feedback and concerns from practice into the KNW to enable effective youth measures
• Supporting the dissemination of KNW topics to relevant contacts in the institutions
• Promoting exchange between health institutions, educational centers, and authorities

The desired profile:

• Interest and motivation for attracting and promoting young talent in the healthcare sector
• Good networking in the health and education sectors
• Proactive and solution-oriented personality with a positive, motivating mindset
• Leadership experience combined with knowledge in the education sector
• Willingness to contribute strategically in a committed, interdisciplinary body

We are committed to the quality and further development of vocational education, represent employers in educational matters, and advocate for the promotion of young talent. In our training center in Zurich-Greencity, we offer inter-company courses for health professions and conduct the Higher Technical School for Intensive, Emergency, and Anesthesia Nursing, Z-INA.
