Social Therapy Specialist 40-60%
for the Brienzwiler facility starting May 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
We are the Terra Vecchia Foundation, a nationally and cantonally known non-profit organization. For people with or without addiction disorders, we offer a variety of services within the framework of work integration, housing support, and inpatient social therapy. Our goal is to accompany people socially and professionally into the heart of society.
Your new workplace is the inpatient social therapy Brienzwiler in the Bernese Oberland, a group program for young adults and adults from 18 years old with an addiction disorder or dual diagnosis. The program is abstinence-oriented and aims to initiate developmental processes through social therapeutic and experiential pedagogical elements.
Your tasks
- Process support for individuals in outpatient and post-inpatient settings
- Case management and administration
- Coaching individuals in various life aspects: health (addiction), administration/finances, leisure, living together, relationships, etc.
- Support for people in training, collaboration with training companies
- Networked collaboration with cost bearers, external agencies, and relatives
- Close networking with the interdisciplinary team and management
- Optionally, the workload can be increased by 10-20% through evening and night shifts in the inpatient area
Your profile
- You have a diploma/BA in social pedagogy, social work, or psychiatric specialist (HF or FH) or a related field
- You have current and solid expertise and experience, preferably in the areas of addiction disorders and dual diagnoses, conversation techniques, and support of individual and group dynamic processes, or you are interested in further training
- You are willing to help shape the facility with your expertise and commitment during a restructuring phase and take on responsibility
- You think and act resource- and solution-oriented
- You are a resilient and thoughtful personality with the ability to support people in their development even in challenging situations
- You are used to working independently and use your good organizational and administrative skills
You are willing to adjust working hours as needed to the requirements of a post-inpatient/outpatient setting (possibly weekend and evening work)
- You have a category B driving license
