Your tasks:

At the Institute for Product and Production Engineering, we combine research, teaching, and industry partnerships to develop innovative solutions for sustainable and efficient production. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed personality with a passion for materials science and joy in practice-oriented research.
Your tasks:
- Management and execution of research and service projects in the field of materials science
- Acquisition of new project partners and development of innovative project ideas
- Independent operation and further development of analysis and testing technology in the materials laboratory
- Supervision of laboratory exercises and academic support of students
Your profile:
- Completed studies in materials science or materials engineering (FH/University/ETH)
- Professional experience in an industrial or scientific environment
- Solid knowledge in microstructure and property formation, heat treatment, and soldering processes of metals
- Experience with thermodynamic simulation (e.g., Thermo-Calc) and EBSD measurements is an advantage
- Very good English skills in spoken and written form
- Enjoy working independently, combined with team spirit and a solution-oriented mindset
