What you can achieve
- Active participation in the implementation of cantonal energy and climate planning
- Recording, analyzing, and documenting progress of individual measures
- Preparation of scientific foundations on energy, climate, and sustainability topics as well as interdisciplinary issues (biodiversity, spatial planning, agriculture, health, natural hazards, economy, and society)
- Participation in information and networking events with districts, municipalities, and other stakeholders
- Support of various climate projects, e.g., greenhouse gas inventories or climate maps, as well as collaboration with other departments of the AfU
What distinguishes you for this
- Ongoing or completed university or university of applied sciences studies in environmental sciences, sustainability, renewable energies, geography, physics, political science, or similar
- High motivation to actively work on energy and climate topics and help shape sustainable solutions
- Enjoyment of data analysis and visualization, e.g., with Excel, Python, or similar tools (advantageous)
- Basic knowledge of project management and interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Good communication skills as well as confident oral and written expression
- Independent, reliable, and structured way of working
