The name is a tribute to the Engelberg tourism pioneer Eugen Hess-Waser. "Atelier" stands for creativity, craftsmanship, and quality - values that shape the new restaurant. Guests can expect a modern interpretation of alpine cuisine - seasonal, regional, and imaginative. The "Atelier Hess" combines alpine history with contemporary hospitality at 1800 meters. The interior will be upgraded and there will now be a rooftop terrace with spectacular views.

We are looking for a:
Host "Atelier Hess" 100% (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Leading and planning the day and evening business
- Working at the front, guest care, coordinating staff
- Scheduling, hour control
- Planning and executing events and banquets
- Onboarding new employees / temporary staff
- Ensuring cleanliness and order (Prolek)
- Daily accounting, currency exchange, and inventory
What you bring
- Great interest in culinary arts and wine. Training as a sommelier and/or a completed WSET qualification (Level 3) is an advantage
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, possibly already with leadership responsibilities
- German and English language skills are required, additional languages are an advantage
- Independent working style, flexibility, and resilience
- Enjoyment in dealing with guests from all over the world
- Service-oriented mindset and a friendly, well-groomed appearance
- Resilience and sense of responsibility
- Strong knowledge of food, beverages, and wine
