Timberland EMEA is looking for an exceptional Coordinator, Visual Merchandising for Timberland Global team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

A day in the life of the Coordinator, Visual Merchandising for Timberland looks a little like this.
Reporting to the Senior Global Visual Merchandising Manager, you will contribute to the development, coordination, and implementation of global visual merchandising standards and tools. The role focuses on ensuring consistency, clarity, and excellence in visual merchandising across all regions and store formats. You will play a key role in elevating the brand experience and driving alignment across Timberland’s retail environments.
You will support the creation of global VM guidelines, seasonal directives, and in-store communication tools—including window concepts and POP materials—ensuring they reflect Timberland’s brand identity and storytelling. By collaborating with regional teams and cross-functional partners, you will help scale global VM efforts and elevate the retail experience worldwide.

- Support the creation and evolution of global visual merchandising guidelines for all store formats and distribution channels.
- Coordinate the development of seasonal visual directives, ensuring alignment with product strategy, marketing campaigns, and brand storytelling.
- Work closely with Store Design to create innovative and functional store layouts, thru the definition of store zoning, product display principles, capacity and density standards to elevate the customer experience.
- Collaborate with regional VM teams to ensure consistent execution of global standards and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Help manage the visual merchandising calendar, aligning key milestones with product launches and marketing activations
- Contribute to the visual merchandising toolkit, including planograms, display guides, and training materials.
- Support the analysis of visual merchandising performance across regions and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Store Design, Marketing, Retail) to ensure VM strategies are integrated into broader retail initiatives.
- Act as a brand ambassador and reflect the company values; partner with the leadership team on the creation of an engaging visual experience that appeals to the Timberland customer
- Take a forward-thinking approach to the customer experience through in-store marketing, merchandising, display, and outfitting to create a compelling store environment

- Foster a culture of strong communication and teamwork in order to ensure a balance of operational and visual priorities and to facilitate problem-solving
Skills for Success
We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundational skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education, such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, visual arts, architecture, business or a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 3+ years of experience and professional achievements in visual merchandising, or a related field.
The foundational skills you will need are:
- Strong knowledge of visual merchandising principles and retail environments
- Solid understanding of store layout, product presentation, and customer journey
- Ability to translate brand strategy into clear visual guidelines
- Excellent project coordination and organizational skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with global and regional teams
- High attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and brand consistency
- Strong analytical mindset to support performance reviews and improvement opportunities
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on flexible hours
