About the job
Urology at Thun Hospital covers the entire spectrum of modern minimally invasive, endourological, laparoscopic, robot-assisted (Da Vinci), reconstructive, as well as open surgical techniques, in addition to diagnostic and standard operative procedures.
You will independently care for patients in the outpatient clinic, operate on your patients, and assist your colleagues in major procedures. You will be taught skills in endourology including laser technology such as HoLEP, and in conventional laparoscopic, robot-assisted, reconstructive, and open surgical techniques. Supervising and training assistant doctors are among your further responsibilities.
Start date from March 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
How to become part of our team
- Completed specialist title in urology (Switzerland or EU) or near completion (final year of training)
- Basic experience in endourology as a surgeon
- Very good German language skills (at least B2)
