About the job
Your Tasks
- You are part of our dedicated Front Office team and serve as the first point of contact at the reception on-site or by phone, providing general information about study operations, rooms, and room reservations (opening hours Mon–Fri, 8:00–17:00).
- You distribute teaching and office materials as well as audiovisual media.
- You plan room allocation for training and continuing education events at the Lucerne Train Station campus in collaboration with other room planners.
- You process room requests for internal and external events, coordinate infrastructure with the building services, and prepare internal room cost accounting.
- You handle incoming and outgoing mail, sell books and small items, and process refunds.
- You create reports for school administration, maintain the information monitors (Multi-Web), and perform address updates in the Evento database.
- In case of absence, you take over deputy tasks for the head of reception.
Your Profile
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or have a comparable qualification.
- You bring professional experience in reception, secretarial, or administrative areas, ideally in an educational environment.
- You are IT-savvy and confident in using MS Office.
- You communicate fluently and correctly in German, both orally and in writing.
- You are characterized by your strong service and customer orientation as well as a friendly professional demeanor.
- You are highly organized, reliable, resilient, and keep an overview even in hectic situations.
- You have a "hands-on" mentality and pitch in where support is needed.
- You promote constructive collaboration and contribute to a pleasant working atmosphere with your friendly manner.
