Your area of responsibility

• According to the overarching document "Responsibility Matrix Welding Supervision" of the A/CH region
• Welding supervision at a comprehensive competence level according to EN ISO 14731
• International Welding Engineer according to IlW guideline
• The tasks and activities are defined in EN ISO 3834-2 and EN ISO 14731 and include, among others
• Verification of requirements and technical review
• Subcontracting
• Welding technical personnel
• Verification and validation of manufacturing and testing equipment
• Work instructions
• Qualification of welding procedures
• Inspections before, during and after welding
• Corrective and preventive measures
• Marking and traceability
• Quality records and documentation
• Activities to be carried out in workshops and on construction sites
• Coordination and cooperation with the superior welding and inspection supervision of the A-CH region
• Preparation and coordination of non-destructive testing

Your personality

• Completed basic technical training in the metal sector with further training as a welding specialist IWS, training as a safety officer
• Several years of professional experience in pipeline construction as well as good practical knowledge in the pharmaceutical and/or chemical sector are an advantage
• Visual inspection VT2 (certificate), dye penetrant tester PT2 (certificate)
• Authorized person for pressure vessels and pipelines according to the Operational Safety Ordinance and TRBS 1203 Part 2 (certificate)
• Precise, flexible working method, high quality awareness and good resilience
• Open, communicative and winning personality
• Car driving license
• Good knowledge of German (spoken and written)
