The Lake Restaurant in the Reeds at the picturesque Greifensee in Niederuster stands for fresh, high-quality cuisine, hospitality, and a unique location directly by the lake. We are looking for a committed, creative personality to lead our kitchen, who cooks with passion, takes responsibility, and develops our culinary offerings together with the team.

Your Tasks

Overall responsibility for the management, organisation, and smooth operation of the kitchen

Leadership, motivation, and development of the kitchen team

Development and implementation of creative, seasonal menu and offer ideas

Ensuring consistently high food quality and appealing presentationPlanning of purchasing, inventory management, and storage as well as active cost control

Responsibility for efficient staff deployment and structured kitchen organisation

Ensuring and implementing hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP)

Close cooperation with management and the service team

Your Profile

Completed training as a cook with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) or a comparable qualification

Several years of professional experience in gastronomy, ideally already in a leadership role

Leadership skills, team spirit, and enjoyment in motivating and developing employees

Creativity and passion for fresh, high-quality, and seasonal cuisine

Organisational skills, cost awareness, and entrepreneurial thinking

Resilience, reliability, and a structured way of working

Good knowledge of Swiss cuisine is an advantage
