Your tasks

In this position, you are responsible for the independent handling of retrofit projects in the field of control technology. Your tasks include:

• Handling retrofit projects based on the specified order specifications and functional descriptions
• Implementation of concepts and customer-specific requirements
• Creating PLC and HMI software according to the QS manual "Manual for Software Quality"
• Responsibility for project management of the entire automation part, including the preparation of software documentation and customer documents (e.g., design documents, manuals)
• Participation in commissioning of systems on the test bench
• Monitoring of test runs
• Coordination of various interfaces to customers - PLS and visualization systems
• Participation in the further development of products regarding control technology
• Support of customer service through telephone support and deployment at customers worldwide
• Participation in training and further education for customers and internal employees
• Sales support for the technical software area

Your profile

• Basic electrical engineering training, as well as a degree as an electrical engineer or HF technician specializing in electrical engineering/automation
• Several years of experience in plant/machine or apparatus construction
• Solid knowledge in programming PLC controls, Siemens S7 (Classic & TIA environment) and Rockwell (RS Logix) is an advantage
• Knowledge of Siemens WinCC flex or similar HMI control platforms
• Programming language skills in AWL, FUP, and Structured Text
• Fluent German and English skills
• Responsible and structured working style, as well as communicative and team-oriented personality
