- Evaluate LLM outputs and prompt-output pairings across quality dimensions such as relevance, accuracy, and safety
- Identify and design evaluation frameworks and metrics
- Implement automated quality checks to flag problematic responses
- Test how AI agents handle different scenarios: simple tasks, complex multi-step tasks, and error situations
- Set up first versions of an end-to-end feedback pipeline to simplify evaluation of agentic AI use cases

Requirements
We are looking for a self-driven, highly motivated AI engineer to join our team in Basel. The successful candidate has a software engineering background with a desire to jump into the world of AI. We are offering an exciting opportunity to help introduce AI into one of our key applications.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field (must have completed at least three semesters)
- Very good spoken and written English skills
- Curious about AI and interested in learning how to evaluate AI systems
- Comfortable with C#, Python and analysing data
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
- Good organizational skills with an attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and ask questions when stuck
- Enthusiasm for learning new tools and methodologies
