The Urban Development department manages the spatial and traffic development of Baden. It is also responsible for the city strategy. The city strategy is the highest planning and management instrument of the city of Baden. As a long-term, overarching control instrument, it stands at the top of the city's management pyramid.

Urban Development and Strategy
Your tasks
- As a project manager, you are responsible for developing the new city strategy until 2028 together with politics and key stakeholders (population, business, etc.).
- Subsequently, you ensure that the strategic guidelines remain anchored in daily administrative actions.
- Every four years, you prepare an interim report on the implementation of the city strategy.
- You are also responsible for the systematic procurement and customer-oriented provision of urban development-relevant data.
- Another essential part of your task is leading further projects in the field of urban development as well as writing statements on inquiries from the population and politics.
Your profile
- Completed university degree in geography, spatial development and infrastructure systems, or economic and social sciences
- Open-minded, networked-thinking personality with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary and strategic projects
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly and appropriately to the target audience, confidently manage various conversation situations, and present convincingly
- Enjoyment in evaluating and preparing data for spatial development as well as providing it digitally and customer-oriented
- Interest in political processes and the competence to write reports appropriately and with style
