The Child and Adult Protection Authority Rheintal, based in Altstätten, is responsible for implementing child and adult protection law. The region for which the KESB Rheintal is responsible includes twelve municipalities. We are looking for a specialist for the Administration Department 80% to 100% starting January 2026 or by agreement, limited until at least January 2027, with the option of extension and reduction of working hours. In this role, you will not only take on classic administrative tasks but also be responsible for complex coordination tasks, the management of internal processes, and interface communication with various departments. Your structured way of working and your interconnected thinking are required daily. Together with two other employees, you are the administrative and organizational support of the authority, the Legal and Audit Department, as well as the internal clarification service. In the operational daily business, this means that you are responsible for sending decisions, creating various correspondence and statistics, as well as digital mail processing. We expect:
- Completed apprenticeship as a merchant with several years of professional experience
- Professional experience in public administration, preferably experience in the KES area
- Confident German language skills in speaking and writing and very good IT user skills
- Open-mindedness towards people in difficult life situations
