Physicians and other medical professionals provide information around the clock by phone regarding poisonings from chemicals, medications, toxic plants, mushrooms or animals, as well as drugs and much more. At our location, in the heart of Zurich with our 50 employees, we offer an interesting position and a varied activity as a Senior Physician or Senior Doctor part-time 50-80% immediately or by agreement to a medically skilled, open-minded personality. The main tasks include:- Providing 24/7 background services in rotation
- Supporting employees in all questions regarding the poison emergency call as well as clinical toxicology and clinical pharmacology
- Monitoring shipping reports
- Answering written inquiries
- Responsible for the functioning and quality of the telephone
- If suitable: Personnel management of physicians and toxicological advisors
- Participation in the structured onboarding of new employees
- Drafting and quality assurance of internal consulting documents
- Scientific activity
- Participation in internal training as well as external lecturing activities
- Completed medical studies
- Several years of experience in the field of clinical toxicology and pharmacology
- Advantageous: Specialist in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology (federal or federally recognized) or specialist in a related field (federal or federally recognized) with experience in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology or
- Committed, patient-oriented working style and high sense of responsibility
