The city of Thun offers comprehensive day schools and ensures care services before and after classes for all kindergarten and school children. The day schools are organized as part of the Thun public school system.
From August 1, 2026, we offer in the Day Schools Lerchenfeld and Schönau/Martinpark a
Your tasks:
- Planning and conducting leisure activities, activities, and projects
- Caring for the children present, including individual support
- Co-designing the day school rooms
- Preparing snacks and taking over kitchen and cleaning tasks
- Assisting with administrative tasks and participating in team meetings
You bring with you:
- Joy in dealing with people as well as a high sense of responsibility
- Strong empathy, patience, and respect
- Basic PC skills and confident handling in spoken and written language (including text comprehension)
- Good observation skills, quick reaction ability, and the ability to set boundaries
- Good team, conflict, and communication skills as well as psychological stability
- Organizational skills, flexibility, and a sense of cleanliness and order
