Your Tasks
With three chairs and a research group, the Institute of Information Management IWI-HSG is one of the larger institutes at the University of St.Gallen. We are looking for a versatile, resilient, and team-oriented person who takes care of all cross-chair matters.
Your tasks
- You are the central contact person internally and externally and ensure the smooth daily operations at our institute;
- You share responsibility for administrative personnel processes and independently handle tasks in this area;
- You have insight into financial accounting, understand the financial contexts, and act as deputy for the accountant;
- You are the right hand of the managing director of the institute and support him in preparing and conducting management meetings;
- You are the contact person for the IT, HR, and real estate departments of the university;
- You work closely with chair secretariats and act as their deputy.

Your Profile
- Various educational backgrounds are suitable for this demanding position, e.g., a commercial basic education with many years of professional experience, ideally complemented by further training as an executive assistant, personnel clerk, or financial clerk, or a corresponding bachelor's degree from a university of applied sciences.
- Interest in financial and personnel topics
- Very good knowledge of common office applications; further IT skills or a strong IT affinity are an advantage.
- Perfect German and very good English skills
