The beautifully located Hochweid Retirement Center in Kilchberg includes a retirement and nursing home with space for around 48 residents as well as a care living group with 10 places for people with dementia. The focus of our work is on palliative care and dementia care. Also part of our center is a retirement settlement with 53 senior apartments as well as 5 additional senior apartments in the Conradstift at Dorfstrasse 80/82.

• Leadership and development of a committed service team with 9-10 employees
• Ensuring a professional, appreciative service in the dining room, cafeteria, and on the wards
• Active participation in daily business four days a week (early and late shifts) and involvement in events and banquets
• Planning and implementation of events as well as promoting a pleasant atmosphere for our residents, tenants, and guests
• Responsibility for deployment planning, orders, inventory management, as well as daily and monthly closings
• Management of the cash register system
• Ensuring and compliance with hygiene and quality regulations
• Budget responsibility in the service area, invoice control, and inventory
• Active participation in interdisciplinary collaboration with other teams and areas of AZ Hochweid

• Completed vocational training as a restaurant specialist EFZ
• Further training as a team leader (professional examination) is an advantage
• Several years of professional and leadership experience, ideally in long-term care or community catering
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form with understanding of Swiss German
• Enjoyment in dealing with elderly people, high service orientation, and empathy
• Organizational skills, resilience, and pronounced team and communication skills
• Independent, structured way of working with a high sense of responsibility
• Very good IT skills
• A warm, empathetic, and humorous basic attitude
