The Opportunity 

Our local product group Insulation & Components is the technical market leader in the design and manufacture of transformer bushings. Customers include well-known international companies in the electrical industry involved in power generation, power transmission, and power distribution. Our high-voltage bushings hold a leading position worldwide.

What You Can Achieve

• At our Hitachi site in Zurich Altstetten, you are responsible for the maintenance, optimization, and further development of the entire electrical infrastructure.

• You independently carry out electrical maintenance, repair, and service work on our production facilities.

• You take care of the proper management of the electrical spare parts warehouse and ensure that the necessary materials are always available.

• In case of technical malfunctions, you take on rapid fault analysis and sustainable troubleshooting.

• You are responsible for spare parts management and actively contribute to improving processes and operational safety.

• You work closely with other electricians and mechanics. The office workstations are team-oriented and located next to the maintenance workshop.

What You Bring

• Completed training as an electrician or automation technician EFZ.

• Knowledge of machine technology is required.

• Experience in technical maintenance or building technology.

• Confident handling of hand tools and devices for installation, dismantling, and testing of electronic devices.

• Structured and solution-oriented thinking.

• Operations electrician authorization according to NIV Art. 13 or 15 is an advantage.

• Routine in using SAP and MS Office.

• Very good German skills in spoken and written form.
