The Steinfeld retirement and nursing home is located in the middle of the village of Suhr, close to Aarau, and offers a comfortable home to 99 elderly, independent as well as care-dependent persons.
Your impact with us
- You are responsible for the practical training of apprentices in the department (FaGe EFZ and AGS EBA levels)
- You plan learning sequences and conduct them independently. You also support the flow of information with all persons involved in the training (apprentices, department management, employees, training supervisors)
- You are responsible for the professional care and support of the residents and share responsibility for implementing the qualified care process
- You are the primary caregiver and work within the primary care system (including work with relatives)
- You are responsible for preparing, checking, and distributing medications
- You participate in BESA assessments and are also responsible for the correct maintenance of care documentation and other administrative tasks
Your qualifications
- Completed training as a Health Specialist EFZ or equivalent qualification
- Preferably further training as a vocational trainer (m/f/d)
- Experience in long-term care
- Empathy, flexibility, and teamwork skills
- Ability to make decisions independently and correctly within your own area of competence
- Enjoy working with elderly and aged people
